Our History:

Steve’s began like many other businesses: just an idea in a garage. Flashback to the early 80’s, where a young Steve Fowler found himself armed with a degree in Automotive Mechanics and Teacher Education. The plan was to teach high school Auto Shop. However, in his down time, Steve found himself repairing more and more cars for family and friends out of his home garage.

In ‘83, Steve decided to swap career paths, and put everything into repairing cars. As the clientele grew, so did the need for something larger than a garage. Steve moved his business into a shop on M-59 in White Lake, MI.

In January of 1997, Steve’s moved to its current location on Pontiac Lake Rd. in Waterford.

Today, the Steve’s family continues to grow with ten full-time technicians, and 4 service advisors, including Steve’s son Jordan.

With his background in teaching, Steve has ingrained in our culture that good service starts with education for both team members and clients.
