Porter Position

NEW OPENING!! Porter Position available in a fast-paced automotive repair facility. We need to keep running at full speed and with your ability we will!

The position calls for an individual that is customer service oriented, energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated. Candidate must be a self-starter and personable with a desire to help out in any capacity due to the nature of the industry and responsibilities of the environment.

Job purpose summary:  to provide great customer service, support the functions and duties of team members, and to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the interior and exterior of the shop.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide safe and reliable transport to customers to and from the shop.
• Assist parts manager and technicians as needed.
  • Assisting technicians may include the following:
    • Helping clean their work bay
    • Helping assist with a vehicle repair
    • Assisting with bringing disabled vehicles into the shop
• Building maintenance (daily and seasonally)
• Office housekeeping
• Shopping retail stores for supplies
• May require lifting and moving  objects and light duty equipment
• Washing and detailing customer vehicles
• Lawn care and snow removal
• Operating cleaning equipment

All candidates must be 18 years old, no criminal background, have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. A high school diploma or GED education is preferred.
